Warranty Policy

his Warranty Policy is established to protect customer interests and clearly define the responsibilities of both Maxcom and the customer regarding technology product warranties.
  • Scope: Applies to all technology products distributed by Maxcom, including hardware and related products, unless otherwise specified in separate contracts.

  • Legal Basis: Based on the Commercial Law of Vietnam, contractual terms, and the specific warranty policies of manufacturers.

Warranty Period

  • Duration: Ranges from 1 to 3 years depending on the product type, as specified in the contract or product documentation.

  • 1-for-1 Exchange Policy: Within 7 days (up to 30 days depending on the manufacturer’s policy) from the date of purchase, products with technical manufacturing defects will be replaced with a new unit.

  • Repair/Replacement: After the exchange period, defective products will be repaired or have components replaced for the remainder of the warranty term.

Warranty Conditions

Eligible for Warranty

  • Technical defects caused by the manufacturer under normal usage conditions.

  • Product is within the warranty period (verified by invoice or delivery note).

  • Warranty seals and serial numbers are intact (not torn, blurred, or altered).

  • Product was used according to instructions, correct voltage, and designated environment.

Warranty Exclusions

  • Expired warranty.

  • Mechanical damage (dropped, impacted, deformed, scratched).

  • Damage due to improper environments (humidity, corrosion, liquid ingress, animal waste, insect infestation).

  • Damage caused by natural disasters, fires, or incorrect voltage usage.

  • Unauthorized disassembly or repairs by individuals not affiliated with or authorized by Maxcom.

  • Torn, blurred, or unidentifiable warranty seals or serial numbers.

Warranty Procedure

  • Request: Contact via email info@maxcom.com.vn or hotline 0896 526 739 with the invoice, delivery note, and fault description (photos/videos).

  • Inspection: Maxcom will inspect the status within 48 hours of receiving the request.

  • Resolution:

    • 1-for-1 Exchange: 3–7 working days (if eligible).

    • Repair: 7–14 working days, depending on the fault complexity and parts availability.

  • Ineligible Cases: Maxcom will provide a written explanation and propose alternative solutions.

  • Return: Products will be returned to the customer via designated shipping services.

Warranty Costs

  • Valid Warranty: Maxcom covers all costs for repairs, parts, and two-way shipping.

  • Ineligible Warranty: Customers are responsible for repair costs (based on a prior quote) and shipping fees.

Responsibilities

  • Maxcom: Ensures service quality, handles requests transparently, and compensates for delays caused by Maxcom (per contract terms).

  • Customer: Provides full documentation, ensures intact seals/serials, and follows shipping instructions for the warranty center.

Other Provisions

  • Data Protection: Warranty-related info is protected under the Law on Cybersecurity of Vietnam.

  • Dispute Resolution: Priority is given to negotiation. If no agreement is reached, disputes shall be settled in competent courts in Vietnam.

  • Policy Changes: Maxcom reserves the right to amend this policy with 30-day prior notice via email.
