Assess the current state of existing systems (LAN/WiFi network, Security Cameras, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address system, BMS, Smart Parking,…) to identify problems: outdated equipment, security blind spots, weak WiFi areas, insufficient camera storage days, systems not meeting fire safety/FDI visitor audit standards, each area using a different brand making management difficult. The consultant then proposed an upgrade plan based on priority: retaining what is still in good condition, replacing what is too old, adding equipment to areas lacking it, and standardizing the system to a single technical standard.

Maxcom also prepares renovation drawings, upgrade Bill of Quantities (BoQ), phased budget plans (e.g., divided into Phases 1/2/3 to avoid a large one-time investment), and construction plans that minimize disruption to production/operation. We can participate in the bidding process, compare contractor proposals, and supervise the renovation to ensure the upgraded system runs stably, safely, is easily managed centrally, and is ready for audit.

Maxcom also prepares complete acceptance documentation: construction log, test results (e.g., network cable testing meeting standards), system configuration, as-built drawings, operating instructions, and training for the client’s team. Simply put: the design consultant is the one who “draws and calculates accurately,” while the construction contractor is the one who “transforms the drawings into a working system that is ready for immediate use.”

The investor’s representative engineer monitors the construction process on-site to ensure the contractor adheres to the design, technical standards, safety regulations, and fire prevention and control guidelines.. Supervising engineer inspect the installation locations of equipment (Camera, Fire Detector, Access Control Systems,…), piping/cables, wiring methods, connections, racks, and perform tests to prevent errors such as shoddy workmanship, incorrect installation elevation, mixing cables with power lines, or using cheaper materials contrary to approved specifications.

In addition to quality control, supervision also monitors progress, volume, and legal documentation at the construction site. Maxcom signs off on the acceptance of each item, requests corrections if it doesn’t meet the standards, and protects the investor’s technical rights (avoiding unreasonable issues and preventing equipment from being “cut back”). Simply put: supervision is the “investor’s eye” at the construction site to ensure that, upon handover, extra low voltage system (ELV) runs smoothly, is fully functional, and can pass inspection.

Regular inspection and troubleshooting for systems such as LAN/WiFi network, Security Cameras, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address system, BMS, Smart Parking,… to ensure they operate stably and continuously 24/7. The work includes cleaning and testing equipment, checking camera storage hard drives, measuring network signals, checking backup batteries/fire alarm control panels, updating firmware, backing up configurations, fixing security blind spots or weak WiFi areas, and replacing degraded equipment early before it fails completely.

Monitoring entry/exit logs, assisting with video extraction in case of incidents, restoring the system after power outages, and supporting security/fire safety audits for clients or authorities. The goal is to reduce downtime, extend equipment lifespan, ensure the system always meets security, safety, and compliance standards, and help investors avoid having to handle too many detailed technical tasks themselves.
